Pinaple-banana smoothie

Ingredients (1 portion):

  • 1 cup pineapple
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 avocado
  • 1 tsp fresh grind ginger

Method:

  • Take the skin off the avocado and pineapple and cut into pieces.
  • Put all the ingredients into a food processor or a smoothie maker and mix until smooth.

Health benefits:

Pineapple contains bromelain, which helps to support digestion and reducing inflation.
Avocado, banana and pineapple contain a lot of fibre, which is a necessary ingredient for functional and healthy digestive system.
Ginger is great for digestive problems and also helps to reduce the feeling of nausea.
