3 Tips to Increase Motivation

Finding the time and motivation to exercise regularly can be one of the hardest things to do, so for those of you who have well done 

However, we all have days where we find it difficult to motivate ourselves or push ourselves to the limit while exercising. So here are some tips to help you

1)TRAIN WITH A FRIEND
If you are like me I hate to lose at anything  so I always make sure I work out with a training partner. That way our workouts always seem to turn into a competition as neither of us wants to lose and we help motivate each other

2) SET GOALS
Many people have an idea of why they want to exercise (Lose weight, tone up or simply to be healthier) but don’t set a specific goal to work towards. Or if they do they only set a long term goal that at times may seem impossible! So set yourself a long term goal but break it down into short term goals that are achievable (So if in 3 months you want to be able to do 20 push ups set yourself a target of increasing your press ups by 2 a week). And once you reach that goal, don’t stop, set yourself a new one 

3) HAVE A PLAN
Always make sure you know what you are going to do before you workout! One of the simplest mistakes people make is not having an exercise plan. This can lead to wasted time while you figure out what you are going to do meaning your workout will be unfocused and inefficient.
