Hangover Smoothie

I am sure you all had a great New Years Eve. In case you are suffering after overindulging last night hear is a smoothie that you help you to recover

Ingredients

  • 1 cup ( 250 ml ) coconut water
  • 1 peeled kiwi
  • 1/2 Green Apple or Pear
  • 2 stalks celery ( chopped )
  • 1 small cucumber
  • 10-20 g Fresh Ginger
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Pinch Himalayan sea salt

Method

Add all the ingredients do blender and blend into a smoothie. Enjoy !

Why is it good for you?

Coconut water rehydrates you

Kiwi contains potassium ( potassium is needed for a healthy heart)

Pear and apples are rich in fiber and potassium

Celery has anti- inflammatory effects and is rich in vitamin K , folic acid, vitamin A , potassium, vitamin C

Cucumber is full of water and helps rehydrate you

Ginger helps to reduce nausea

Lemon Juice is high in Vitamin C

Himalayan Sea Salt helps your body recover lost trace elements
