Parmesan Pastries

Delicious homemade parmesan pastry

I love pastry and especially when its fresh and still warm. I was experimenting in the kitchen yesterday and created healthy and very tasty pastry. You have to try it.

Ingredients


  • 400g wholegrain spelt flour
  • 250g ripe mashed up avocado
  • 250g quark
  • 200g grated parmesan (50g for sprinkling on top)
  • 30g yeast
  • 1-2 tsp salt (to your taste)
  • 2 egg yolks

Method


Mix all the ingredients together (apart from the yolks) and create nice and smooth dough. Then sprinkle flour on a board and roll the dough until its about 1cm thick and then cut small circles.

Prepare baking dish with baking paper and put the cut dough circles on the baking paper, brush with the egg yolks and sprinkle with parmesan.

Bake for 20 minutes on 180'C or until they are ready.
