Roasted Chickpeas

This is a great, healthy snack that I like to make. It is easy to make, and needs very few ingredients. You can also use any spices you like, so experiment and see what you can create!

Ingredients

  • 150g Dried Chickpeas
  • 2 tbsp Coconut Oil
  • 2 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Chilli Paprika

Method

  • Place the chickpeas in a bowl and cover with water. Leave the chickpeas to soak overnight (they will get bigger, so make sure the bowl is big enough)
  • Rinse the chickpeas and then dry them (either leave them to dry or pat them dry with paper towels)
  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees celsius and prepare a baking tray
  • Cover the chickpeas with the oil and the spices. Mix them well and make sure they are all covered
  • Place the chickpeas on the baking tray and spread them out. Place in the oven for 30-40 minutes until they are crispy on the outside
