Many people see healthy eating and exercise as something they don't have time for. The question I have to ask is why?
Your body is the most important thing you have. If you don't take care of it you will be ill or injured more often. You may not be able to do all the things you want to do. It may stop you playing the sports you want to do or doing jobs around the house you want to do. I am not saying you can't be happy if you aren't fit and healthy, but think of all the things you could do that you may not be able to do now.
And yet people would never treat their homes, their cars or their clothes the way they treat their body. You would not put petrol into a diesel car, you would make sure you drive it regularly, you would take care of it, so that it lasts and stays in a good condition.
Your body is the same, if you put the wrong fuel into it, it will not function properly and will break down, if you don't exercise regularly the same will happen.
This doesn't mean you have to go on a diet or spend 2 hours in the gym every day. It is about making lifestyle changes that you can stick to. Take the stairs instead of the lift, don't have sugar in your coffee, eat more fruit and vegetables, eat more unprocessed food, drink more water, go for a walk in the evening.
Your body is amazing and the most important thing you have. Take care of it and I promise you will be amazed at what you can do and how you can feel.
